Residence Llar Emilio Benedetti
The original Llar Benedetti building, located in the city of Barcelona, was donated to the Fundación Llars de l'Amistat Cheshire by the Benedetti family in 1972, for use as a residence for people with physical disabilities.After various adaptations, a capacity of 11 places was achieved, and it was later expanded to 20, with the acquisition of the adjoining house.In 1999, all the residents moved to the new Llar Can Llovera in Sant Feliu de Llobregat, to make way for the construction of the new Llar Emilio Benedetti, with a capacity of 32 residence places for people with physical disabilities. All places are arranged with the Consortium of Social Services of the city of Barcelona.
