Volunteering
Volunteering is one of the connecting points of our users with society.
Many of the day-to-day tasks outside the centre could hardly be accomplished without the help of volunteers. People who, in an altruistic way spend part of their time helping others.
Guided by the directors, the volunteers keep the residents company, accompany them on their private outings and participate in group recreational activities. More than 200 volunteers are currently collaborating with the Foundation.
Volunteers are insured while in the performance of their duties.
For more information, call 93 451 46 19 or write to the centre where you want to volunteer. See the Contact section.
How can you collaborate?
Depending on your profession, skills, leisure, age and, above all, a generous attitude towards people with disabilities. In short, in one way or another, everyone can collaborate.
What can I do?
Some of your tasks may be to accompany residents on a walk, a shopping or cinema trip, and in many cases, to become a good friend of the resident.
Whatever the case, depending on your profession, aptitudes, free time and age. If you have the will to collaborate, we will surely be able to find a suitable activity. Everyone can help.
